First rummage sales of spring (almost)

March 11 and 12 it's the big church rummage sale kick-off with West Seattle Presbyterian and Tibbetts Methodist having their sales from 9-5. Just as a head's up, University Congregational  (in the U district) is having it's annual rummage and plant sale April 15. Doors open at 9:30.

I love church rummage sales. I am waiting eagerly for Sandpoint Community Methodist to have their annual sale. I could swear that they had it the same day as Tibbetts second sale last year, but I suppose that that would make it an Autumn sale instead of spring.

Exactly how far will I drive for a good church rummage sale? So far, I think it's Everett. Although I have definitely given Puyallup some thought.

Weekly Rummage

This Saturday there is a rummage sale at St. Clement of Rome Episcopal Church. 1501 32nd Avenue S. 98144. It's in the Mt. Baker neighborhood from 10-4.

There is also a rummage sale at Snohomish UMC, 2400 Lake Avenue SE, Snohomish, 98290. The sale is from 10-3.

I really thought there was a sale on Beacon Hill but I must have been mistaken.

Rummage Sales, a sad assortment.

Unfortunately, all of this weekends sales seem to be rather far afield.

St. Matthew, 12-14 from 9-4

And more rummage!

This week there is a church rummage sale in Ballard at the Church of the Nazarene, 6541 Jones Ave NW, 30 and 31st from 9-5. There is also a rummage sale, reputed to be large, in Puyallup on the 31st at Puyallup United Methodist from 8-5. It's at 1919 W. Pioneer. I think I might do both. I was planning on taking the girls to the Scottish Highland Games in Enumclaw this weekend anyway, so I might as well stop by the United Methodist's on the way.

I always lure the girls into being enthusiastic by suggesting that there may be a bake sale. Is that bribing them with food? That's probably not good is it. Well, this time I can lure them to Puyallup with the thought of the Seattle Knights, who will be fighting, not on horses this time, but in scottish costumes instead! Very exciting!
